1 of a few superb teapots Kam got in his 2006 Yixing trip. Gong Chun style teapots are hard to make because of irregularity. You have to do the details bit by bit until you cover every inch of the 46oz teapot. Moreover, to make this in high handle form in such a size would result in very high wastage rate. As the trend of working for quantity rather than quality develops in Yixing, such tough design is going extinct. Let's enjoy the higher art while it's around.
